Elderly Man Rushed to Hospital After Suffering Head Injuries in Attack

NEW YORK CITY, NY – An unidentified male attacked a 76-year-old man with a rock in front of 104-27 37 Drive in the 115th Precinct on Monday morning, according to police reports.

The assault occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. The attacker struck the elderly man in the head before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim was subsequently taken to Elmhurst General Hospital, where he is in stable condition.

Authorities have released media of the assailant, available at the DCPI, in hopes of identifying him.
