NYPD Makes Arrest in Deadly Brooklyn Shooting

BROOKLYN, NY – An arrest has been made in connection to a fatal shooting that took place in April at 330 Hinsdale Street. Isiaha Roberts, a 32-year-old male from Brooklyn, was charged on Wednesday with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The victim, now identified as 31-year-old Jason Oliver of Brooklyn, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest when police responded to a 911 call on April 26. He was transported to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Roberts was arrested at 2030 hours within the 75th Precinct. The investigation remains ongoing.
