COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus police are investigating a homicide that occurred in the Eastmoor neighborhood on Thursday morning.
The victim, identified as 34-year-old Eric Sankey, was found shot and unresponsive on the 600 block of South Everett Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. Medics pronounced him dead at 10:47 a.m.
The circumstances leading to the shooting have not yet been determined by investigators.
The Columbus Police Department is actively seeking information that could assist in solving this case.
