TOMS RIVER, NJ – A minor ‘domestic dispute’ escalated when eight Toms River Police Department officers arrived at Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi’s residence following a 911 call from her daughter.
The incident was shared by Polizzi on her weekly podcast Snooki and Joey.
“I thought I was going to be on TMZ for something terrible,” she said. “She called the cops on me.”
The daughter’s call to 911 was prompted by Polizzi’s refusal to assist with her TikTok account while hosting guests at her home. The young girl reported her mother for being mean and then ended the call.
“So, she ran inside and called 911 and they were like, what’s your emergency?” Polizzi said. “She said my mom is being mean to me and just hung up.”
Within ten minutes, eight Toms River police officers were at Polizzi’s door. Polizzi, who was unprepared for the visit, initially denied that anyone had called 911. She later discovered her daughter had retreated to the bathroom, regretful for making the emergency call.
Police proceeded to interview the child about her welfare, asking if Polizzi had physically harmed her. Polizzi voiced no objections to the questions, stating she would expect the same treatment for any 911 call involving a child.
“She didn’t know that they traced the calls and they were going to show up,” She added. “It’s 10:30 at night, I’ve been drinking all day, now I’m on like my fourth glass of wine. I’m drunk and I’m ready for bed, so I was like, whatever.”
Polizzi later issued an apology to the Toms River Police Department for the incident.
“Can you imagine if TMZ picks this up?” Snooki said. “The cops show up at Snooki’s house because she was being mean.”
