Man Arrested for Robbery and Computer Theft in Pocono Township

POCONO TOWNSHIP, PA – On Sunday, at approximately 7:47 pm, officers from the Pocono Township Police Department responded to a theft report at a residence on Learn Road.

Jeremiah Valera, a 20-year-old male from Pocono Lake, was identified as the offender. Valera forcefully took the victim’s phone from her hand and left the residence.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department assisted in locating Valera’s vehicle.

Valera was taken into custody and faces multiple charges, including robbery, computer theft, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and harassment.

He was transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
