Two Arrested in Atlantic City Robbery

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department has arrested two individuals, Kkyree Dunkerson and Mariah Gooden, both 30, in connection with a robbery that occurred last Thursday. At 3:45 AM, patrol officers were dispatched to Ohio and Pacific Avenues following a report from a 38-year-old man from Bronx, NY, who claimed he was robbed of his wallet.

The victim reported that he was led by Gooden to Dunkerson, who then acted as if he had a weapon in his waistband and demanded the victim’s wallet.

After obtaining the wallet, both suspects fled the scene. Officers William Palmer, Edwin Maldonado, and Bryan Victoria-Garcia located the suspects on Michigan Avenue, where they were positively identified and taken into custody.


Both Dunkerson and Gooden were found in possession of a knife. Additionally, Gooden was found with cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Dunkerson faces charges including robbery, theft, and terroristic threats, among others. Gooden is charged with robbery, theft, and drug-related offenses.

The suspects have been remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. The Atlantic City Police Department asked anyone with information related to this case to come forward.
