NYPD Continues Search for Rapist Thwarted by Good Samaritans

BROOKLYN, NY – A 36-year-old woman was pushed to the ground and choked by an unknown male on August 28 in front of 61 Clarkson Avenue, before bystanders intervened.

The victim was walking when she began talking with the male. He pushed her to the ground, climbed on top of her, and began to choke her. The suspect attempted to expose himself but fled the scene when bystanders intervened. The woman sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention.

The individual is described as a 5’5″ male, weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has a dark complexion, medium build, and large, black hair in dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt, brown pants, and black sneakers.
