BRIDGETON, NJ – Today marks the fourth anniversary of the disappearance of 5-year-old Dulce Maria Alavez, who would be 9 years old now. Authorities have released a new age-progression image, produced by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, to help identify what she may look like today.

The public is urged to share the newly released photo and the accompanying flyer in both English and Spanish. The flyer also describes a person of interest, and authorities remain hopeful that Dulce is alive.

Officials stress that anyone with information, regardless of immigration status, is encouraged to come forward. All tips received will be followed up.

For those with information on this case, contact the Bridgeton Police Department at 856-451-0033. Tips can also be submitted anonymously via computer, tablet, or smartphone at bpd.tips or ccpo.tips.
