Police Seek Grey Hyundai Elantra Involved in Hit and Run of Juvenile

ROCKVILLE, MD – Montgomery County detectives are actively investigating an attempted robbery and subsequent hit-and-run incident that occurred on Conti Place on September 15.

According to the initial investigation, a juvenile male was in a group when he was approached by individuals who exited a light grey Hyundai Elantra. The assailants assaulted the victim and attempted to rob him; one suspect was reported to be armed with a handgun. After initially leaving the scene, the suspects returned in the same vehicle and intentionally struck the victim with the car. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
