Delaware Drug Dealer Caught with 26,000 Bags of Heroin

LINCOLN, DE – Eric Davis, 41, of Seaford, Delaware, faces drug charges following his arrest by Delaware State Police on Thursday morning.

On September 14, the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force was patrolling an area known for illegal drug activity around an unoccupied property on the 22000 block of Neal Road in Lincoln, Delaware.

Detectives observed Davis arrive at the property in a Chevrolet Silverado and engage in what appeared to be multiple drug transactions. The detectives then approached and detained Davis, during which they noticed drugs on the center console of his vehicle.


Search warrants were obtained for Davis’s vehicle, the abandoned property, and a camper on the site. The subsequent search yielded significant evidence including:

  • 26,013 bags containing approximately 182 grams of suspected heroin
  • 4.13 grams of crack cocaine
  • Over $1,000 in suspected drug dealing proceeds
  • Various items of drug paraphernalia

The arrest marks another step in the ongoing effort to combat drug-related activities in the area.
