Woman Dead, Another Injured in Lincoln Highway Crash

NORTH VERSAILLES, PA – A two-vehicle collision on Lincoln Highway resulted in one fatality and prompted an ongoing investigation by the Allegheny County Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit.

The incident occurred around 9:00 pm when County 9-1-1 was alerted to a crash involving a Buick Verano and a Subaru Imprezza in the 1400 block of Lincoln Highway. Upon arrival, first responders discovered that the Subaru had been struck by the Buick. The driver of the Subaru, an adult female, was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Buick’s driver, also an adult female, received treatment at the scene.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit has initiated a comprehensive investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Authorities are encouraging anyone with information related to this incident to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers may remain anonymous.
