Wall Township Police Blotter: Here’s What Happened

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – A series of driving while intoxicated (DWI) arrests and one warrant arrest were made by Wall Township Police from September 13 to September 17.

On Wednesday, September 13, Patrolman Megan Alexander arrested Victoria Osegura-Vasquez (30) of Point Pleasant for driving while intoxicated. The arrest occurred after a motor vehicle stop on State Route 71. Osegura-Vasquez was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.

The following day, on Thursday, September 14, Patrolman Tyler Martin arrested Tony L. Beckam Jr. (45) of Pennsauken. The arrest was based on the strength of an active warrant out of Camden and followed a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Beckam was processed and released.


Friday, September 15, saw Patrolman Hunter Manning arresting Ashley N. Bennett (21) of East Brunswick for driving while intoxicated. The arrest followed an investigation into a one-vehicle motor vehicle collision at the Collingwood Circle. Bennett was processed and released under John’s Law.

On Saturday, September 16, Patrolman Kevin Donegan arrested Thomas Gillas (60) of South Amboy for driving while intoxicated. The arrest was made following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Gillas was processed and later released in accordance with John’s Law.

Finally, on Sunday, September 17, Patrolman Megan Alexander arrested Pieter D. Malan (58) of Hamilton for driving while intoxicated. The arrest occurred after a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 34. Malan was processed and released, again in accordance with John’s Law.
