Akron Police Seek Suspects in $4,000 Vape Store Fraud Case

AKRON, OH – The Akron Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects involved in a fraud case.

On August 21 and September 8, the suspects used fake prepaid cards to purchase over $4,000 worth of items from Kings of Vapor on S. Arlington St.

Anyone with information about the suspects or this crime is asked to contact Akron Police Detective R. Bassett at 330-375-2600 or the Summit County Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS (2677).


The suspects should not be approached; if seen, call 911.

The Akron Police Department is responsible for investigating fraud cases in the city. Tips can also be submitted via the Akron PD app or the department’s website.
