D.C. Police Hunt for Suspects Involved in Armed Carjacking

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the D.C. Metro Police Department are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying suspects involved in an armed carjacking incident that transpired on Sunday morning on the 2100 block of M Street in Northwest D.C.

Around 4:24 a.m., while the victims were at a gas station, they were approached by five individuals. One of the suspects brandished a firearm and commanded the victims to lie on the ground. Subsequently, the suspects seized the car keys; two of them drove off in the victim’s vehicle while the other three escaped in the suspect vehicle.

Individuals with information regarding the identities of these suspects or any knowledge about the incident are urged to refrain from taking any action but to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The investigation into this case is ongoing.
