GALLOWAY, OH – A shooting took place in the Hardesty Heights neighborhood on Monday afternoon, leaving one individual dead.
Columbus police officers responded to reports of the incident around 3:35 p.m. on the 5700 block of Pepperwood Court.
Upon arrival, emergency crews pronounced one person dead at the scene.
The Columbus Division of Police is treating the death as a homicide.
As of 5 p.m., officers were still searching for a suspect. The identity of the victim and details of a potential suspect remain undisclosed.
