Manhunt Underway for Suspect in 26-Year-Old Pava LaPere’s Murder

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department, spearheaded by Acting Commissioner Richard Worley, together with Mayor Brandon M. Scott and State’s Attorney Ivan Bates, has announced the issuance of an arrest warrant for Jason Dean Billingsley, aged 32, from Baltimore, in connection to the murder of 26-year-old Pava LaPere.

Billingsley was arrested in the years 2013, 2011, and 2009 for various offenses, including a sex offense, 2nd-degree assault, and robbery. The Special Investigations Section of the Baltimore Police Department is meticulously examining any potential links between Billingsley and other ongoing investigations.

Both the Warrant Apprehension Task Force and the U.S. Marshals’ Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force are actively engaged in the efforts to apprehend Billingsley, who is currently considered to be armed and dangerous. The authorities are urging the public to exercise caution and to promptly contact 911 if they have any information about Billingsley or come into contact with him.
