MANHATTAN, NY – Andre Mosby, 26, was indicted on Wednesday by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr. for the death of a 54-year-old man, following a vehicular altercation.

Mosby faces charges in a New York State Supreme Court indictment, specifically, Manslaughter in the Second Degree.

Documents from the court reveal that Mosby, while driving on East 60th Street in Lenox Hill, collided with the victim’s car during a lane merge. Following the collision, an argument ensued between the two.

The victim retrieved a knife from his vehicle, deflating two of Mosby’s tires, and stood in front of Mosby’s car wielding the knife. In response, Mosby accelerated his car, striking the victim into a glass storefront. The victim was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital within 30 minutes of the incident.

It was determined that Mosby had been driving on a suspended license during the occurrence of the incident.
