JOHNSTOWN, PA – Perry King, 47, pleaded guilty today to federal narcotics charges, announced United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan. King entered his plea before Senior United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson.
King pleaded guilty to Count One of a Superseding Indictment and Counts One and Two of an Indictment. According to the guilty plea, between April 2019 and July 2021, King conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine. King was also charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine on October 31, 2019, and January 14, 2020.
Sentencing is scheduled for February 8, 2024. The law stipulates a minimum sentence of 5 years and a maximum of 40 years in prison, along with a fine of up to $5 million for Count One of the Indictment. Additional counts carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million. The final sentence will be determined based on the severity of the offenses and any prior criminal history of the defendant.
