JACKSON, NJ – Jackson Day planning is now underway with officials hoping for a grand townshipwide celebration. Scheduled entertainment includes rides, family activities, special guest appearances, and a myriad of food and drink options.
Confirmed attendees for the day include pilots and officers from the New Jersey State Police, who will visit in one of their helicopters. RWJ Barnabas Health will also mark its presence with a LifeFlight helicopter.
For the thrill-seekers, there’s a 100-foot Super Fun Slide, the Funhouse Maze, and the Funhouse Obstacle Course. The Dixie Twister ride promises to be a hit with its swinging and spinning actions. Larger groups can enjoy the trackless train that seats up to 16.
Additional attractions include a bungee trampoline, a rock climbing wall, and a Ferris Wheel that can accommodate 16 children at once. The Counterfeiters, a renowned cover band, will deliver a high-energy performance of music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
There will also be a Remax hot air balloon present, courtesy of Mordy Eichorn and Remax On The Move. Motorcycle enthusiasts can look forward to multiple stunt shows throughout the day.
For those interested in games, JLK Sales Group is sponsoring a cornhole tournament with the victor receiving a flat-screen television. There’s also a pickleball tournament with cash prizes for the winners.
The Jackson PBA will be setting up a beer garden for those above the age of 21. Children can enjoy interacting with animals at the petting zoo. Car aficionados will appreciate the Hollywood Nights Cruisers, showcasing a collection of antique, classic, and custom cars.
To end the day, attendees can gaze upon the night sky as it lights up with fireworks.
