A shocking video of New Jersey U.S. Senator Robert Menendez’s wife Nadine Arlsanian striking and killing a pedestrian while driving in 2018 has been released by News 12 today.

The incident has been discussed in the media since the senator’s most recent political bribery and corruption case, and it is well known that Arslanian did not face any criminal charges for the incident, but the video, until now, has not been made public.

The recently revealed video implicates Nadine Arslanian Menendez, wife of Sen. Bob Menendez, in a 2018 pedestrian fatality.

While dating Sen. Menendez in 2018, Arslanian was involved in an accident on East Main Street, Bogota. On Dec. 12 of that year, at approximately 7:30 p.m., she struck Richard Koop, 49, with her vehicle. Koop later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

“He was bleeding from the head and appeared to have severe trauma to his head. Mr. Koop had also vomited in the street and there was a trail of blood coming from his body,” police said in their report.

Following the incident, Arslanian informed authorities that Koop had unexpectedly run into the path of her car, even leaping onto its hood. The Bogota police report mentions that Koop had been wearing a dark jacket and might have been jaywalking instead of using a designated crosswalk.

The investigation concluded that Arslanian was not responsible for the accident, and no charges were levied against her.

Now, that case is under scrutiny after it was alleged that Menendez was not above using his political clout to try to influence criminal investigations and cases.
