Man Sleeping Outside Cumberland Business Spends the Night in Jail After Disturbance With Police

CUMBERLAND, MD – Officers of the Cumberland Police Department arrested Tyler Cloud Dixon, 38, of Cumberland, after he exhibited disorderly behavior in front of local businesses. Dixon was first spotted sleeping outside a business establishment and was subsequently approached by the officers.

Upon being asked to clear his trash and vacate the premises, Dixon responded aggressively, shouting obscenities. Despite repeated requests to calm down and leave the vicinity,

Dixon continued his disruptive behavior, drawing the attention of nearby businesses and pedestrians. Following his arrest,


Dixon was transported to the Police Headquarters, where he received criminal citations for failure to obey and disorderly conduct. He was later released.
