15-Year-Old Shot in Broad Daylight by Multiple Gunmen in Jamaica, Queens

NEW YORK, NY – A 15-year-old boy was shot in a hail of gunfire Monday afternoon by multiple gunmen in Jamaica, Queens.

The New York City Police Department is now asking the public for assistance in identifying individuals connected to the shooting.

On Monday, October 9, at approximately 1:00 pm, outside of 114-49 148 Street, unidentified assailants opened fire, injuring a 15-year-old boy in both the hand and leg.


Following the shooting, the suspects escaped on foot without a traceable direction. EMS promptly transported the victim to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition.
