HARRISBURG, PA – Lackawanna County defense attorney, Corey Kolcharno, 49, admitted to trading his legal services for sexual acts and materials from four female clients. Attorney General Michelle Henry confirmed on Tuesday that Kolcharno pleaded guilty to four felony charges related to promoting prostitution.

As per the plea’s terms, Kolcharno will surrender his legal license. His sentencing will be determined after a presentence investigation is completed.

Attorney General Henry emphasized the gravity of his actions, stating that court officers must maintain high ethical standards, given their role in upholding justice. The investigation, conducted by the PA Office of Attorney General and the Pennsylvania State Police, disclosed that between 2018 and 2022, Kolcharno exploited his position to solicit vulnerable clients, many of whom faced addiction, past sexual abuse, or other hardships.
