Fatal Shooting at Fort Fisher Historic Park Leads to Arrest

FORT FISHER, NC – Adrian Maurice Hall Jr. has been arrested by the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office following a fatal shooting at Fort Fisher Historic Park.

The incident, which took place in the park’s parking lot, resulted in the death of Christopher Fenti and critical injuries to another individual.

Detectives have charged Hall with first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, and two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied property, following the incident which was reported to have occurred around 8:30 a.m.


Fenti was in his vehicle when Hall allegedly approached and fired multiple rounds, also injuring another individual in the process.

Hall is currently being held without bond at the county detention center. The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional details about the incident and continues to investigate.
