Governor Murphy to Depart U.S. on Day of Planned Global Pro-Hamas, Palestinian Protests

TRENTON, NJ – Hamas and other pro-Palestinian groups have called for protests and marches of solidarity across America on Friday. Police Departments at all levels and state and county officials are putting their forces on high alert.

According to an ABC News report, all uniformed New York City police officers have been ordered to show up on duty on Friday. Police statewide are increasing patrols.

“All uniformed members of the service are to perform duty in the uniform of the day – effective immediately and until further notice, all uniformed members of the service, in every rank, will perform duty in the uniform of the day and be prepared for deployment,” ABC reports.


New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is getting on a plane with his wife Tammy and heading to Japan to entice businesses to relocate and open offices in New Jersey.

“On the morning of Friday, October 13, Governor Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy will travel out of state to Japan to begin their East Asia Economic Mission Trip with Choose NJ. They will return to New Jersey on the evening of Sunday, October 22. Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way will serve as Acting Governor during this time,” Phil Murphy announced Thursday night.

While on retreat, Tahesha Way will serve as acting governor.

Although no direct threats have been made, according to the FBI, State Department and Homeland Security, the global day of

protests against Israel is spreading across the internet with events planned in multiple cities across the country.
