NEW YORK, NY – New York City Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez today continued calling out Israel for retaliatory attacks against Hamas after the terrorist organization murdered over 1,200 Israelis and dozens of Americans. Many of those victims were women and children.

Pictures of burned babies and babies mutilated by Hamas were released by the Israeli government on Thursday.

In response, AOC has condemned Israel for committing ‘genocide’.

“This is collective punishment and a violation of international law. We cannot starve nearly a million children to death over the horrific actions of Hamas, whose disregard for Israeli, Palestinian, and human life overall could not be more clear,” she said.

Meghan McCain, daughter of former U.S. Senator John McCain responded by asking AOC, “Why exactly haven’t you demanded Hamas return the hostages?”

The NYC Congresswoman has not called upon Hamas to release hostages held by the terror group, including dozens of Americans.
