Police Release Photo of Suspect in Knifepoint Robbery

Detectives with the NYPD are searching for two suspects involved in a robbery that occurred on Westchester Ave and White Plains Road on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. According to police reports, the incident took place around 10:50 p.m., when a 25-year-old male was accosted by two unknown individuals.

“One individual displayed a knife, while the other individual removed the victim’s property from his person. The individuals then fled the location on foot, heading toward Virginia Avenue,” the police said in their official press release. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the incident.

The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, aged between 18 to 24, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black sweatpants, a blue hooded sweatshirt, and light-colored crocs.


The second suspect is also described as a male with a dark complexion, aged between 18 to 24. His attire at the time of the incident included a black shirt and black sweatpants with a white stripe on the side. Unlike the first suspect, there is no depiction available for the second individual at this time.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspects or the incident to come forward. The investigation is ongoing, and additional details will be provided as they become available.
