A GOP Win in 2023 Could Halt Murphy’s Radical Energy Agenda, Gas Car Ban and Parental Rights Fight

TRENTON, NJ – New Jerseyans have a chance to put the brakes on New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s radical energy initiatives that include a gasoline-powered car ban by 2035. Murphy’s agenda revolves around ‘electrifying’ New Jersey, including heating systems, appliances and even boats, according to a state document released last month.

November’s election offers New Jerseyans an opportunity to halt that agenda. If Republicans win seats in the assembly or senate, and gain a majority in either house, Murphy’s radical energy agenda would be crippled.

It’s the one chance New Jerseyans have to stop the reign of Murphy’s executive order style of governing for the remainder of his term. A GOP win in November would handcuff the governor and make him a lame duck as he finishes his final two years in office.

Republicans would also have the ability to challenge Murphy on a number of other radical agenda issues, including sanctuary state status, gun control, COVID-19 response, parental rights issues, and taxes.

Under the leadership of Murphy in New Jersey, the state has become known as the “California of the East Coast”.

Murphy has copied and pasted many of California’s social, environmental, and civil rights laws that has driven hundreds of thousands out of the state due to high costs of living, inflation, rising crime and quality of life concerns.
