Multiple Teens Attacked by Cane and Broom Wielding Suspects in New York City

NEW YORK CITY, NY – An assault occurred on Tuesday, September 26, at approximately 3:00 pm at 3720 Independence Avenue, and the New York City Police Department is seeking information on the suspects involved.

Three victims were involved in the incident. The first, a 14-year-old male, was stabbed in the upper right thigh after a verbal altercation with four unidentified assailants.

He was transported to Montefiore Medical Center for treatment. A second 13-year-old victim suffered a broken right arm, and a third 15-year-old male was punched in the face.


The attackers fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV. The suspects are described as males of varying complexions, with one female accomplice.

 Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
