Wall Township Police announced today the arrest of one individual and the search for another in connection to a string of burglaries and motor vehicle thefts that plagued the community three weeks ago.

The crimes occurred across multiple streets including Allaire Rd, Williamsburg Dr, and Equestrian Ln, among others.

Detective Zach Honecker has charged Ahmad Singletary, 24, of Newark with multiple offenses including 15 counts of burglary to a motor vehicle, three counts of burglary to a residence, and seven counts of conspiracy to commit motor vehicle burglary—all third-degree crimes. Singletary is also charged with two counts of receiving stolen property, two counts of theft, and one count of criminal mischief. He is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges.

Additionally, Kevin Yuille, 24, of Elizabeth has been charged but is yet to be apprehended.

Yuille faces two counts of burglary to a motor vehicle, two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary to a residence, and four counts of conspiracy to commit motor vehicle burglaries—all third-degree crimes. Warrants have been issued for his arrest.

The charges come as the result of a three-week-long investigation by the Wall Township Patrol and Detective Divisions, responding to multiple incidents of residential and vehicle burglaries, as well as motor vehicle theft.

Authorities continue to advise residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as the search for Yuille continues.
