Mayor Lisa Crate and the Brick Township Council are set to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the revamped Cedar Bridge Manor Park on Wednesday, October 25, at 4 p.m.
The park is located on Manor Drive and the event marks the end of a long-awaited renovation process that benefits the residents of Cedar Bridge Manor and the surrounding communities.
The renovations include a variety of new features aimed at enhancing the recreational experience for visitors. These include a restored shoreline, a half basketball court, an ADA-compliant playground equipped with age-appropriate amenities, fitness components, a walking trail, and the installation of picnic tables and benches.
“Mayor Crate and the Township Council are excited to open this park and are confident it will be a popular place for residents to enjoy,” said the official announcement.
This unveiling represents the eighth project in the Township’s ongoing Park Improvement Program, which commenced in 2014. Prior accomplishments include renovations at Windward Beach, Herbertsville Park, Lake Riviera Park, Angela Hibbard Park, Hank Waltonowski Park, Bernie Cooke Park, and Bayside Park.
Beyond park renovations, the program has also overseen upgrades to various recreational facilities, including fitness stations at Drum Point Sports Complex and the refurbishment of Forge Pond Tennis Courts.
Looking ahead, the next slated renovation under the Park Improvement Program is Mallard Point Park on Tunesbrook Drive. The continued efforts underscore the township’s commitment to providing high-quality recreational spaces for its residents.
