In a public service announcement, the Lodi Police Department in New Jersey alerted residents to a series of road closures for scheduled utility work. Affected areas include James Street, Harrison Avenue in Lodi, and Paramus Road in Paramus.

According to Lodi Police Department’s social media updates, James Street will be closed at Prospect Street, and Harrison Avenue will be closed between Elizabeth Street and Arnot Street in Garfield. “Use alt route,” the department advised, urging motorists to find alternative routes to avoid delays.

Similarly, an alert from Paramus authorities stated that the northbound lanes of Paramus Road will be closed between Glenn Avenue and Vermont Drive until about 5 p.m. However, the southbound lanes will remain open, and detours have been put in place.

Residents and commuters are advised to take note of these closures and plan their routes accordingly to avoid inconveniences.
