MANHATTAN, N.Y. – A dispute over a photo booth in a Manhattan bar escalated into violence early Wednesday morning.

The incident transpired at Iggy’s bar, located near 76th Street and Second Avenue on the Upper East Side, at approximately 3 a.m.

Two couples inside Iggy’s began a heated argument, which eventually led them outside to the sidewalk. There, a 32-year-old man was shot in the leg, while his wife suffered a cut on her face.

Both were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and are in stable condition. The couple responsible for the injuries fled the scene and was last seen heading north on Second Avenue. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

A local podcaster Keanu Thompson, who was broadcasting live nearby, expressed shock and recounted having to take cover when gunshots rang out.
