Sunday is Jackson Day and the Weather Looks Like it’s Going to be Great

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – The community of Jackson Township is set to mark Jackson Day on October 22, with a variety of events and entertainment lined up to celebrate the occasion. This year’s Jackson Day promises to be a memorable one with the day’s weather forecasted to be sunny and seasonably mild, adding a pleasant backdrop to the festivities.

The township has organized a range of activities to ensure a fun-filled day for all ages. The event will kick off with a community parade starting at 10 AM, featuring local schools, organizations, and township officials. Following the parade, there will be a fair at Johnson Park from noon to 4 PM where attendees can enjoy games, rides, and food from local vendors.

Live entertainment is a staple of Jackson Day and this year is no different. A stage at Johnson Park will host a series of live bands and performers from the local area throughout the day. For those interested in learning about the history of Jackson Township, guided tours will be provided by local historians at the Jackson Township Historical Society from 2 PM to 4 PM.


The day’s events will culminate with a fireworks display at Johnson Park at 7 PM, providing a spectacular end to the celebrations.
