JACKSON, NJ — An event celebrating the fall season in the New Jersey Pinelands is scheduled for this Saturday, October 28, at 2 p.m. The program, “Blazing Colors of the Pinelands,” features a guided 1-mile walk through pine and oak forests.

The walk will take participants through several managed forest sites and will start at the Forest Resource Education Center, located at 495 Don Connor Boulevard. Due to ongoing bridge construction, attendees must enter the center from Don Connor Boulevard.

Pre-registration for the event is required and will be accepted on a first-come basis. The event is open to 20 participants and is free of charge. Participants are advised to dress for the weather and cancel their registration if they are unable to attend.

For registration, interested individuals can visit Eventbrite’s page for the event.
