Wall Township Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening Around Town

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Wall Township Police Department reported a series of arrests conducted over a span of one week, ranging from drug possession to criminal mischief and driving while intoxicated.

On Monday, October 16, Patrolman Tyler Martin arrested Taniya C. Pearson, 29, of East Orange for shoplifting at the Walgreens on State Highway 35. Pearson was processed and transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

The following day, Patrolman Jason Paulus arrested Thomas R. Vaughan, 29, of Manahawkin on State Highway 34 near Megill Road for driving while intoxicated. Vaughan was processed and released in compliance with John’s Law.


On Wednesday, October 18, Patrolman Tyler Driscoll arrested Sean P. O’Callahan, 54, of Lakewood, and Kimberly A. Newman, 54, of Clifton on State Highway 35 near 18th Avenue for possession of crack cocaine. Both were processed and released on a summons.

On Friday, October 20, Patrolman Ken Bala arrested Jeanine L. Prinston, 45, of Ocean Township for possession of crack cocaine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia following a vehicle stop on State Route 18 near Brighton Avenue. Prinston was processed and released on a summons.

On Saturday, October 21, Patrolman Tyler Martin arrested Gina L. Battaglia, 32, of Jackson for possession of heroin after a vehicle stop on Interstate 195. Battaglia was processed and released on a summons.

Lastly, on Monday, October 23, Patrolman Fred Sprengel arrested Deborah L. Reid of Mantoloking for criminal mischief. The arrest followed an investigation at the Atlantic Club on Atlantic Avenue. Reid was processed and released on a summons.
