Morning Shooting in Baltimore Injures 19-Year-Old

BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred this morning, leaving one 19-year-old male injured.

While on patrol around 11:06 a.m., officers near the intersection of Reisterstown Road and Saint Ambrose Avenue heard gunfire. They immediately canvassed the vicinity and located the victim, who suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Medical attention was administered on-site until medics arrived to transport the victim to a local hospital.

Initial inquiries indicate that the shooting took place in the 3400 block of Saint Ambrose Avenue. Northern District Shooting detectives have taken charge of the investigation.
