Two Injured in Broad Street Shooting in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. – Two individuals were injured in a shooting incident that took place in Albany on Thursday evening.

The incident, which occurred around 4:50 p.m. near Broad Street and Alexander Street, resulted in both victims being transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Albany Police Department reported finding a 19-year-old victim at the scene.

Subsequently, a 25-year-old individual was being treated for a gunshot wound at Albany Medical Center related to the same event.


Both victims sustained injuries to their lower extremities and are now in stable condition. An active investigation is underway.
