Halloween Has Gone To The Dogs in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Good Dog Bar hosted its inaugural Howlll-o-ween Dog Costume Contest today, marking a festive occasion that united pet owners in a charitable cause.

The event took place on the bar’s outdoor patio and featured categories such as most original costume, won by a dog dressed as Spaghetti & Meatballs; scariest costume, awarded to a Yorkie accompanying a child dressed as a serial killer; and best family or group theme, which went to a Scooby Doo ensemble. Local artist Heather Hires provided face painting, and tarot readings were also available, adding an extra layer of engagement to the gathering.

Winners earned the privilege of having their dogs’ photographs displayed on the walls of Good Dog Bar for the upcoming year. The event raised funds for AHS Popcorn Park, a New Jersey-based non-profit animal refuge and sanctuary.
