Wall Township Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Wall Township Police have made several arrests over the course of the past week for a variety of charges ranging from theft by deception to driving while intoxicated, according to their public notices.

On Monday, October 23, Devon J. Harris, 32, of Trenton, was arrested for theft by deception following an investigation led by Patrolman Hunter Manning. Harris was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution due to default on bail. On the same day, Robert C. Riehman, 56, of Point Pleasant, was arrested for possession of a prescription drug without a valid prescription after a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 34. He was processed and released on a summons.

On Tuesday, October 24, Ashley R. Lendle, 27, of Brick, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, possession of clonazepam, and reckless driving following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident on Allaire Road. She was processed and released in compliance with John’s Law.


On Thursday, October 26, Sharon D. Pierce, 58, of Lake Como, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. She was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.

On Friday, October 27, Melvin C. Johnson, 53, of Asbury Park, was arrested on charges of possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest at the Budget Inn and Suites on State Highway 35. He was processed and released on a summons.

On Saturday, October 28, Scott M. Pringle, 65, of Wall Township, was arrested for possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia after a welfare check on State Highway 35. He was processed and released on a summons.

Finally, on Sunday, October 29, Gerber I Marquez-Perez, 33, of Long Branch, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 195. He was processed and released in compliance with John’s Law.
