MILTON, DE — Delaware State Police arrested Johnny Diogo, 66, of Greenwood, Delaware, on charges of a 5th offense DUI and drug-related charges at a Milton gas station on Monday.

At 3:37 p.m. on October 30, a trooper responded to the Valero gas station at 25772 Deep Branch Road following a report of a man slumped over the driver’s wheel of a Ford F-150 pickup truck. The trooper made contact with Diogo, the driver, waking him up and noting signs of impairment. Standardized Field Sobriety Testing confirmed that Diogo was under the influence.

A subsequent search of Diogo and the F-150 yielded drugs and drug paraphernalia. Diogo was arrested and transported to Troop 7, where a computer check showed he had four previous DUI convictions.
