Howard County Halloween Traffic Op Nets 121 Citations and DUI Arrests

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County Police Department, in collaboration with Maryland State Police, successfully concluded a traffic enforcement initiative over the Halloween weekend leading up to October 31. The effort resulted in the issuance of 121 citations, five arrests for DUI, and the recovery of one firearm.

The department announced its intention to maintain DUI enforcement details throughout the upcoming holiday season. Daily traffic violation enforcement on county roads will continue as part of the department’s commitment to road safety.
