BEACHWOOD, NJ – Andrew Fantasia, a 27-year-old Beachwood resident, has been charged with possession of child pornography and an additional count of endangering the welfare of a child on November 1, following an investigation that uncovered inappropriate conduct with a minor.

These charges come after an October 25 arrest where Fantasia, a teacher at Carl W. Goetz Middle School and club advisor at Jackson Memorial High School, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated criminal sexual contact, and official misconduct. Investigations by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and Jackson Township Police revealed that between February and June 2023,

Fantasia engaged in sexual contact with a student on high school premises and solicited nude photographs from the victim.

A search warrant executed at Fantasia’s residence resulted in the seizure of several electronic devices. Analysis by the High Tech Crime Unit of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office found nude images of the victim on Fantasia’s phone. He is currently held at the Ocean County Jail awaiting a detention hearing.
