LAKEWOOD, NJ — Lakewood Police apprehended three individuals early this morning following multiple reports of egg-throwing at pedestrians and properties from a moving vehicle.

Officer Nicholas Romeo, alongside the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch, located the suspects’ Nissan Altima near the intersection of Lanes Mill Road and Joe Parker Road around 12:40 am. The individuals, Zack Hadley and Jace Pichirallo, both 18, and an unnamed 17-year-old male, all from Brick, were detained subsequent to officers finding evidence linking them to the offenses.

Detective Michael Dennis’s investigation led to the filing of simple assault charges against Hadley and Pichirallo. The minor was released into his parents’ custody. Authorities believe the trio was involved in at least seven similar incidents, with further charges pending as the investigation continues.
