MILFORD, DE – A liquor store in Milford was the scene of an armed robbery on Friday afternoon, with an armed suspect evading capture.

Authorities were called to Liquor Stop at 6129 South Rehoboth Boulevard following a robbery report at 1:09 p.m. Initial reports indicate a white male brandishing a handgun demanded money from a store employee. After receiving an undisclosed sum, the individual fled the premises.

State Police conducted a search of the vicinity without success in apprehending the suspect. Details regarding the suspect’s identity remain limited, with descriptions pointing to a white male in dark attire and sunglasses. Officials did not release surveillance footage or photographs from the incident.


No injuries were sustained during the robbery. The Delaware State Police continue their investigation and seek information from the public to locate the suspect.
