NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA – The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office is currently investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Churchville. The incident happened last Sunday evening on Elm Avenue.
The shooting resulted in the death of a 40-year-old male, who was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Additionally, a Northampton Township police officer sustained injuries during the incident and received medical treatment.
As the investigation is active, the office has withheld further comments and has not released any names associated with the incident.
Determination of the shooting’s circumstances will be made once the investigation has concluded.
