Philadelphia District Attorney Activates Election Task Force Citywide

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office (DAO) has announced the activation of its Election Task Force (ETF) in anticipation of the municipal general election on Tuesday.

Assistant District Attorneys and Detective staff will be on standby to address any complaints or infractions at polling locations throughout the city.

With polls opening at 7 a.m. Tuesday, the ETF hotline and national nonpartisan Election Protection hotline will be operational to support voters with any election-related issues.

In cases of violence or threats, individuals are instructed to contact emergency services.

The ETF will oversee the electoral process until all votes, including those from overseas and military ballots, have been certified. Voters in line by the poll’s closing time will retain their right to vote, as mandated by law.
