CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – On the morning of Wednesday, a West Shore School District school bus was struck from behind by a pickup truck at a red light at the intersection of Bridge Street and 3rd Street.
No injuries were reported among the children on the bus or the pickup truck driver.
The pickup truck operator was subsequently detained for outstanding criminal warrants by local law enforcement and taken to Cumberland County Booking.
The school bus and pickup truck were moved from the scene without further incident.
The children were safely transported to their school.
