Atlantic City Stabbing Victim Drops Illegal Gun Inside Ambulance

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department arrested stabbing victim Marcus Martineau after a handgun was discovered in his possession.

On November 11, officers responded to a stabbing report at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Arctic Avenues at 5:32 AM. They found Martineau, 35, of Atlantic City, with a stab wound.

While being transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, a handgun dropped from a bag he had with him.


Martineau, treated for a non-life-threatening injury, faced immediate arrest upon recovery of the weapon at the medical center.

He is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and being a certain person not to possess a weapon.
