Late-Night Shooting in D.C. Leaves Man Critically Wounded

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was critically injured in a shooting incident in Southeast Washington on Monday night, according to D.C. police.

The shooting occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of Valley Place. Sgt. Adrian Channer, a spokesman for the D.C. police, reported that the victim was found unconscious and not breathing following the incident.

His current medical status and whether he was hospitalized remain unclear.
